DOCUVANTAGE ONDEMAND® FAQ'S

Can all the users in my account access all the information we are storing?

No! It is strongly recommended to always keep the permissions section up-to-date and only provide access to areas that users need, if they actually need it.

If you are an Account Administrator, to set permissions you will log into the system and select the Admin link from the top navigation bar. Next, select the list item "Permissions" to open the Permissions page.

Although there is a significant list of choices of permissions, the process is the same in editing. Select the area you wish to set permissions and click "Modify."

When the screen loads, you will see where you can easily change permissions - current users and groups. When finished adding and removing permissions, simply click "Save" to save all changes made for each permission within the group.

Defining and documenting processes can be challenging, and it will take some time. Here are a few simple, yet critical steps to help get you started:

1. Gather all of the participants of the business processes to discuss the process.

  • This will help you get a big-picture understanding of the way information is routed currently and why.
  • Consider bringing in a moderator that knows nothing about the process. It encourages people to explain things in more detail. If you are using a
